How to use this set

Use these prompts to prepare accurate examples, clearer questions, and thoughtful workplace conversations without scripting a false persona.

Employment rules and organizational context vary. Keep sensitive details private, verify local policy, and involve an appropriate adviser when a decision affects legal rights or personal safety.

Build an interview story bank

Organize verified experience into flexible interview examples without memorizing exaggerated or invented stories.

Exact prompt

Build a reusable interview story bank from my real experience. Do not invent actions, metrics, conflict, or praise.

Target role and requirements:
{{target_role}}

Experience notes:
{{experience_notes}}

Interview format or constraints:
{{interview_context}}

Instructions:
1. Identify six to eight capabilities the role is likely to explore and show which are explicit versus inferred.
2. Map each capability to the strongest supplied example; reuse one example only when it demonstrates a genuinely different dimension.
3. Structure each story as context, responsibility, specific actions, observable result, and reflection.
4. Preserve team contributions and distinguish what I did from what others did.
5. Flag missing evidence, confidential details, and claims that may sound inflated.
6. Add two likely follow-up questions for each story and a concise truthful answer outline.
7. Suggest practice cues rather than a word-for-word performance script.

Return a capability map, story cards, evidence gaps, and a practice sequence. Keep unknown results explicitly unknown.

Replace before use

Target role{{target_role}}
The role description and capabilities likely to be assessed.
Experience notes{{experience_notes}}
Accurate projects, responsibilities, challenges, actions, and results from your experience.

Prepare questions for an interviewer

Develop role-specific questions that reveal expectations, team conditions, decision authority, and hiring-process gaps.

Exact prompt

Create a focused set of questions I can ask during this interview to evaluate the role as well as demonstrate thoughtful preparation.

Job description:
{{job_description}}

What I already know:
{{known_context}}

My priorities and concerns:
{{priorities}}

Instructions:
1. Identify important ambiguities in outcomes, scope, reporting lines, resources, collaboration, and evaluation.
2. Draft questions that invite concrete examples instead of rehearsed yes-or-no answers.
3. Prioritize questions that materially affect whether the role fits my needs.
4. Include tactful follow-ups for vague answers without turning the conversation adversarial.
5. Separate questions for the hiring manager, future peers, recruiter, and later-stage offer discussion.
6. Avoid asking for information already stated clearly unless verification is important.
7. Flag compensation, accommodation, background-check, or contractual topics whose timing and wording may depend on local context.

Return a ranked shortlist for a ten-minute question window, role-specific follow-ups, signals to listen for, and notes I should verify after the conversation. Do not infer company culture from promotional language alone.

Replace before use

Job description{{job_description}}
The published role description and application information.
Known context{{known_context}}
Reliable information from earlier conversations or public company materials.Example: The team is distributed across three time zones
Priorities and concerns{{priorities}}

Plan a difficult workplace conversation

Prepare a calm, evidence-based conversation about expectations, workload, feedback, or working boundaries.

Exact prompt

Help me prepare for a difficult workplace conversation while separating observed behavior from interpretation.

Situation and timeline:
{{situation}}

Desired practical outcome:
{{desired_outcome}}

Constraints and power dynamics:
{{constraints}}

Instructions:
1. Summarize the facts I can directly support and mark assumptions or emotionally loaded labels.
2. Identify the narrowest issue that needs discussion now.
3. Draft an opening that describes the situation, its work impact, and a specific request without assigning motives.
4. Prepare neutral questions that surface missing context and invite joint problem-solving.
5. Anticipate several plausible responses and outline calm, bounded follow-ups.
6. Suggest what to document before and after the conversation using factual language.
7. Define conditions for pausing, escalating through an established process, or seeking qualified help, especially where safety, retaliation, discrimination, health, or legal rights may be involved.

Return a fact-versus-assumption check, conversation outline, response branches, and follow-up record. Do not diagnose people or promise that a particular script will resolve the issue.

Replace before use

Situation and timeline{{situation}}
Specific events, words, dates, and work impact, with identifying details removed when appropriate.
Desired outcome{{desired_outcome}}
A concrete, work-related change or clarification you want to request.Example: Agree on which two deliverables take priority this week
Constraints and power dynamics{{constraints}}
Reporting relationships, policy, safety concerns, accessibility needs, or timing limits.

Evaluate a job offer systematically

Compare an offer with personal priorities, evidence, unknowns, and downside risks without making the decision for you.

Exact prompt

Help me evaluate this job offer systematically. Organize the evidence and tradeoffs, but leave the final decision to me.

Offer details:
{{offer_details}}

My priorities and constraints:
{{priorities}}

Current alternatives:
{{alternatives}}

Instructions:
1. Separate written terms, verbal statements, assumptions, and unanswered questions.
2. Compare compensation components only at a descriptive level and identify items that need tax, legal, benefits, or financial verification.
3. Assess role scope, manager access, resources, schedule, location, learning, stability, and exit constraints against my stated priorities.
4. Identify asymmetric risks, switching costs, and information that could materially change the decision.
5. Draft respectful clarification questions and distinguish questions that should be answered in writing.
6. Build a weighted comparison only from weights I explicitly provide; otherwise use an unweighted comparison and leave weight and score fields blank.
7. Include a pre-acceptance checklist for contract review, references, and personal logistics.

Return an evidence table, unknowns ranked by decision impact, clarification questions, and a reversible next-step plan. Do not provide legal, tax, immigration, or individualized financial advice.
